Software Evolver · Patent-pending technology
Compact programs, found automatically.
License our patent-pending Software Evolver. You define the target with test cases and a score; the Software Evolver searches millions of candidate programs at up to 26.8 billion evaluations per second and returns compact, exact programs for the SFA Non-Von-Neumann Architecture.
Describe the goal. Receive the program.
Define the target as test cases and a score. The Software Evolver searches for small executable programs that meet it and returns the best programs found.
Up to 26.8 billion evaluations per second
Measured on a documented benchmark target on one AMD EPYC 9455 processor. One evaluation is one candidate program run on one test case; the figure multiplies generations per second, candidates per generation and test cases per target. The Software Evolver also runs on NVIDIA GPUs.
Reproducible and verified
Every run is reproducible, and every returned program is checked exactly against its target.
Programs, not opaque weights
Results are compact programs that can be read, simplified, tested and deployed like any other code.
Exact mathematics, too
The same search also finds exact mathematics and compact laws: formulas in measured data, identities, generating functions, Boolean functions, and geometric and combinatorial constructions, wherever a candidate can be checked exactly. We used the Software Evolver in the research behind our mathematics papers published on Zenodo.
Licensed on demand
The Software Evolver is patent pending and available for licensing on demand, as a product for the SFA Non-Von-Neumann Architecture. Technical material and filing information are provided under NDA.
Discuss Software Evolver licensing
The throughput figure is a documented benchmark result for a defined target on one AMD EPYC 9455 processor; throughput depends on program size and test cases. Technical details and filing information are provided under NDA.
